I was just revisiting lesson one and took a break for lunch. We were watching the news on TV while eating and a story came on about a father who is accused of abusing his 2 yr. old child by twisting BOTH of his arms until he heard them SNAP. Then he tried to hide the problem by feeding the child pain killers until the next day then decided to bring him to the hospital.
I explained to my wife that we must LOVE this man. She looked at me in surprise. I explained why but I found myself having problems accepting this! I felt like the scribe instead of the tax collector that Michael was talking about in video 3. I have overcome that feeling now and I WILL myself to love that father and also I pray for him..
Can anyone give suggestions or examples of how they would handle this kind of situation?

I can tell you truthfully that I have no idea how I am going to handle a situation until it comes my way. I learned a while back that trying to figure out what I would do took away my peace. My mind would race with hypothetical situations and I would draw conclusions from what I might do if. What-IF is a fantasy of the mind and is not based in reality. The only thing I can really do is now.

I have learned that sometimes I respond to a situation like a dead person. What would a dead person do - nothing. I say that when my mind only desires to be angry or wants to get even. I am not always successful brother. That's the struggle.

I would just say, yes, there are some aweful things that happen, but don't let your heart be troubled. We can only cross that bridge when we get to it and focus on the now.

Michael

Default Mercy and Grace

After viewing the class I have come to the understanding that it would be "unjust" after all to hold faults against anyone, given the fact that God is no longer holding faults against me. If I have bad thoughts for anyone it must come from a "judgement" I have made against that person based on my knowledge of good and evil. I can see how easily judgement enters the mind and works upon my perception. If I were to remove judgement, say against the person you were talking about PaxEt Bonum, I would only have the ability to see him, according to my faith, through the shed blood of our Lord Jesus. Do not judge and you will not be judged, grant pardon and you will be pardoned. This is why Jesus tells us we must change our minds. My mind has been nutured by my surroundings in life and it is distant from the mind of God unless it is all loving. Just my thoughts. God has blessed all.

Default The end

Jesus said to them in reply, "See that no one deceives you.

For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Messiah,' and they will deceive many.

You will hear of wars and reports of wars; PAX Man see that you are not alarmed, PAX Man for these things must happen, but it will not yet be the end. Pax Man you will no longer hear of these thing when you die, that will be the end.

Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be famines and earthquakes from place to place.

All these are the beginning of the labor pains. Birth-in pain is seeing all the things and hanging on to Agape' love to the end will be saved. When you go through those Labor Pain you are being berth in to the Kingdom of God Never put yourself in a Hypothetical Situation Our Blessed Mother Mary never complained about the death of Her Son and HE was innocent and God

I saw this video and I am very grateful that I did. I feel I was close to God but still felt bad for the horrible sins I had done in the past. It makes me feel much better that he still and always will love me. Also I am very happy that i learned what that I must love everyone and not hate anyone for anything the have done because this is something I did previously. Thank you for the videos and I will continue to watch the rest of them as time goes on.

Default Peace

I can tell you I have watched each of these video teachings many, many, many times. The school of evangelization is more a way of life than a teaching to try and give to someone else. I want to encourage you to watch all of the videos again and again. Use the web site of Good News Ministries as a tool of evangelization by simply sharing it with anyone and everyone.

Peace,
